Q001. For whom is this site intended?
This site is intended for women who wish to learn more about their submissive nature, and for those who receive, openly enjoy and encourage their submission. Our primary focus is upon nurturing the dominant / submissive archetype which we commonly refer to as the Natural Order between male and female humans.
Q002. Is this web site affiliated with any religious organization?
No. While we do not discourage religious worship, we neither advocate nor associate with any unifying religious doctrine or practice.
Q003. Is this site just about sex?
Certainly not. Our focus is on the body and mind of the submissive female. Since sex is the primal engine behind so many of our complex desires, sexual submission is often the first instinct to naturally manifest in our interests and expressions. Sexual submission is not where this site solely concerns itself, however. We feel the combined forms of intellectual, emotional and spiritual submission are equally and ultimately more important if one aims to be submissive in the truest sense of the word.
Q004. Is this another "BDSM" site?
While the BDSM (Bondage and Discipline, Sadism and Masochism) "culture" is commonly associated with those of like-mind, it is not ubiquitous in all those who identify with us. This is a crucial point we feel many may tend to overlook. While some may enjoy the social and commercial movement BDSM has become, others strongly feel they cannot relate to its formulaic theatrics and assumed "laws." Our goal is not to discuss the finer points of latex or leather, but focus upon female submission from the psychological, sexual, philosophical, intellectual and spiritual pathways, without a need to be politically correct. We want to study and define what true submission is—how to nurture it in women, perfect it in oneself, and differentiate it from other less sincere and self-serving facades.
Q005. Are you all misogynists?
On the contrary. We are so fond of women, in fact, that we built an entire website and community about them. We do, however, have certain opinions on how women should be kept, trained and enjoyed for Male pleasure and advantage. This does not come from a place of hate, but love for the female sex.
Q006. Is this site related to "Gor" or John Norman's writings?
Not at all. While much of what "John Norman" wrote in his "Gor" book series would probably mesh well in some ways with our spirit, Humbled Females draws its inspiration from the reality of human nature—not fantasy novels. It's important to keep in mind this author's works are merely fictional expressions of human sexuality and instinct, not the definitive authority about them. For this reason it is inappropriate to describe an authentic, Male-led relationship based in reality as "Gorean".
Q007. Isn't submission a sign of weakness?
Weakness is usually regarded as an inadequate quality or feature in a person or thing. When speaking of true submission, this couldn't be any farther from the truth. While a woman's submissive status does not empower her in an immediately obvious sense, it certainly strengthens those benefiting from her labor and love. If what she provides gives others health and happiness—and by virtue, more strength—how can this be attributed to weakness? By her acts of devotion she is providing pleasure and advancement for those she serves. Indeed, it is an ancient role of the female. In many circles of our pro-feminist (and supposedly, pro-choice) culture, a woman is often scourned as weak by her sisters for openly displaying too much servile behavior, especially to a Male. This is an ignorant attack born of contemporary social programming rather than an honest assessment of her strengths or abilities.
Q008. I'm a feminist and I find this site appalling. What can I do?
If you really feel compelled to save all the women of the world, get off this site and make a considerable donation to Amnesty International or help out as much as you can at a rape and abuse shelter. We assure you that your time and energy will be far better spent pursuing those ideas than haunting an online community of voluntary membership.
Q009. Who created this site, and why?
This web site was initially created by a small group of like-minded individuals who united under a common vision: to promote the many rewarding aspects of complete and authentic female submission and educate those who may be seeking it. Much of this site's content is in fact a culmination of thoughts and efforts from many contributors who share the same philosophy. If you would like to contribute to this site, please contact us and we will consider your article or visual works for submission.
Q010. Does this site cost anything?
No. The entire purpose of our primary url is to diffuse our philosophy and human understanding, not capitalize upon it. We do allow visitors to donate to this site and its efforts, but this is strictly voluntary. Some portions of the site may be pay-based, depending upon what services they entail, but the larger work of the Humbled Females web site will always remian free and open to adult public access and discourse.
Q011. I'm under eighteen. Should I be here?
While many of us personally don't feel the budding point of natural intellectual curiosity, sexuality or ability to comprehend starts at the age of eighteen, for legal reasons we must respectfully request all visitors be of legal age when reading and viewing the content on this site. This is not a moral decision, but a legal one.
Q012. I cannot see any of the entries in your community forum. Why?
In order to participate in the community, you will need to be at least eighteen years of age and open a livejournal account. After establishing an account, you will need to join the community and be approved.
Q013. I have a question, comment or submission. How can I contact the webmaster / administrator of this site?
